I'm not watching the Super Bowl today, mostly because I don't give a rat's ass, and also for the reason that I have better stuff to do.
Another essay is in the can today. Hopefully my linux OpenOffice doesn't fuck up the formatting like it did last time I tried it. However, that was whenever I used the utterly craptastic Suse Linux 9. I could poop a better distro than that.
Anyway, not much happened this past week, so I really don't have much to say, other than the fact that at my new job I got paid 72 bucks for working six hours this week. Not to shabby for a high school senior who only has to pay for his gas in his not-so-efficient pickup.
Speaking of a pickup, I want to get rid of it. My parents are looking for me a smaller car to drive when I go to college, and I'll probably get it for graduation. A good present, if I do say so myself. I've been scouring craigslist myself, looking for that special deal, yet to find it.
Guess I'll go looking now...
As my Christmas gift to you, I present what could be the worst game in the history of known history of the universe.
Crash Car is a pathetic excuse for entertainment, and it's a surprise that it's actually on Addictinggames.com. It's so terribly atrocious, it's hilarious. But we can give the author a round of applause for the mind-blowing graphics in the game. Enjoy and have a very Merry Christmas!
Our little roadster, named the Sasquah, did extremely well in the competition. It probably had the third longest range of the whole class. My friend took it home with him, with plans to cremate it. The Hanson CD on the right rear wheel has it coming, anyway.

I need a more efficient car.
My 1993 Toyota T100 is a great pickup, but I really can't afford to pay $60 to fill it up. My dear 'ol Dad says we'll find me something smaller soon. Hopefully a LOT smaller. I was thinking an old Toyota Corolla or Tercel. Heck, a Echo or even a Paseo if the price is right. It just has to be a Toyota; that's my only requirement. I found a '93 or 4 Tercel on Autotrader that looked perfect, but the dealer sounded a bit shady.
In the meantime, my T100 shall be a loyal vehicle for the time being.
Really neat commercial for the 1984 Corvette. This was the year they released the heads-up system, a LCD display that was shown on the car's windshield, allowing the driver easier access to the speedometer and other displays. Really ahead of its time. Too bad GM products don't have them anymore.
