The devil is making a snowman and I'm considering voting on the republican ticket. The world has been turned upside down. 97.1 The Eagle has returned to everyone's complete surprise. What was once the best rock station in the State of Texas is now back to reclaim it's throne from 93.3 The Bone. I give 93.3 a month...
Which band or artist which is no longer performing or alive would you have loved to have seen?

My pick would have to be Stevie Ray Vaughan. I was born about two weeks before he died, so I never had the chance to see him live or to see what he could have been in today's music world. Of course, no one will be able to see that.
But my answer would be different if it wasn't for a little twist of fate.
For those of you not in the know with Classic Rock legends, Stevie Ray died in a tragic helicopter crash. The crazy thing is, Eric Clapton was supposed to be on the helicopter instead of Vaughan. Clapton urged Stevie to get on the copter, since he had felt sick and needed to return to his room. So, if it had happened the other way, I would be typing about another person.
92.5 KZPS is dead. One of the best classic rock stations in Dallas has been raped by the big wigs at Clear Channel. "Lone Star 92.5" is a commercial-free COUNTRY/Classic Rock hybrid that took everyone by surprise. The plus side is that Bo & Jim and Jon Dillon are still there, but they won't be on as often. No matter, since it looks like a move to 93.3 for me.
