Have you ever recycled an old computer or laptop? Where did you take it, and what steps did you take to protect your personal information?
I've never recycled a computer myself, since I still use my old computers off and on, but I have prepared computers to be recycled to work during the summer.
One of my tasks was to remove the stone-age Compaq servers out of the network room and move them into the warehouse. I had to remove the hard drives, as well. Since I worked at a school, these drives could hold sensitive information, which meant I had free reign as to how I could torture these drives. Immediately after removal, I threw them as hard as I could into the brick wall, and them dropped them from about six feet a couple times, before chunking them into a cardboard box. all of the drives were hopelessly mangled by the time I was done. It was great stress relief.
What do you enjoy most about summer?

Not having to be corralled in a school hall and having to put up with asshole jocks all the time. During the year, I just have to keep thinking that I'll be making ten times as much as they will, and their liver will most likely resemble a Vlasic pickle in ten years time. Just the freedom, basically.
How often are you wrong? Do you find it difficult to admit it when you are?
Submitted by emily ann.
I really don;t like to brag, but I'm not wrong very often. But when I am, I usually am VERY wrong. Sometimes it irks me when I have to admit I'm wrong, but usually it's such a glaring mistake I pretty much have to. Could we get to some less awkward qotds, now?
What was your favorite TV season finale this year?
Submitted by Kristine.
Even though I don't keep up with it , the finale of Lost was pretty awesome. Even though I have no idea what's going on, my jaw was on the floor for most of the time. It's just the most crazy-ass show I've ever seen.

Which band or artist which is no longer performing or alive would you have loved to have seen?
Submitted by Rev Stan.
My pick would have to be Stevie Ray Vaughan. I was born about two weeks before he died, so I never had the chance to see him live or to see what he could have been in today's music world. Of course, no one will be able to see that.
But my answer would be different if it wasn't for a little twist of fate.
For those of you not in the know with Classic Rock legends, Stevie Ray died in a tragic helicopter crash. The crazy thing is, Eric Clapton was supposed to be on the helicopter instead of Vaughan. Clapton urged Stevie to get on the copter, since he had felt sick and needed to return to his room. So, if it had happened the other way, I would be typing about another person.
Have you noticed a climate change in the area where you live over the past few years?
Not really. It's still terribly hot during the summer, and we have a bitter cold two weeks of winter. No real change.
You're trapped in a (temporarily) out of order elevator - who would you like to be trapped with?

David Letterman for entertainment, and Stephen Hawking as David's temporary Paul Shaffer. I mean, come on, Steve's got to have GarageBand on that lingusitics machine.
DAVID: So, uh, Paul, have you ever had a Krispy Kreme donut?
STEVE: No. Da-vid. I. Have. Not.
DAVID: Well my favorite Krispy Kreme donut flavors are, in order, glazed...chocolate creme...and then crumb!
STEVE: HA. HA. HA. Da-vid! (Starts playing jazzy rendition of "Another One Bites the Dust".)
